Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie (born November 24, 1982) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as well as an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics to the reality that she became a mother in the 2008 presidential primaries and was also able observe the US presidential election results while in Jordan. She observed how it affected the citizens of Jordan and gained a greater appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District during the 2010 election. She lost to Rob Wittman. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. She created the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
