Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017-2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an influential political contributor to CNN. She worked on elections for the re-elections of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the communications director of Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. Psaki was also the press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. Her appointment in the Department of State fueled speculation that she could replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney when he left the White House,[21] but on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
